This decision was made during the meeting of the CEC in the new composition on Friday.
Vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Mejlis (Parliament) Ziyafat Asgarov and head of the parliament’s Apparatus Safa Mirzayev also attended the meeting.
Mazahir Panahov thanked the commission members for their confidence in him.
Then, Natig Mammadov was elected as deputy chairman of the CEC, and Mikayil Rahimov and Arifa Mukhtarova as secretaries of the CEC.
