OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to visit South Caucasus
The statement came from French ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Mounier.
The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs of France and Russia visited the region in October for negotiations on the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.
The US side was represented by assistant co-chair David Salvon.
The OSCE Minsk Group remains the main platform for negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.
But despite the efforts of international mediators, this conflict remains unsettled for already more than 20 years.
20% of Azerbaijani lands - Nagorno Karabakh and seven surrounding regions-are still under Armenian armed occupation.
Four resolutions of the UN Security Council demand the withdrawal of Armenian troops from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan but Armenia still ignores them.
