Azerbaijan and Russia to hold joint naval exercises
The small missile ships of "Desperado" and "Buyan-M" projects, included in the Caspian Fleet of the Russian Federation for the first time will show their capabilities in international exercises in 2015, AzVision.az reports citing RIA "Novosti".
"The naval exercises of the Caspian states will be held in the Caspian Sea. During summer trainings the naval division of Caspian Flotilla will hold a trilateral naval exercises with the navies of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and bilateral naval exercises with the sailors of Azerbaijan", the statement says.

Russia will be represented by the small missile and artillery ships "Grad Svijazhsk", "Uglich" (project "Buyan-M"), and "Velikiy Ustyug", "Makhachkala" and "Volgodonsk" (project "Desperado").
