Putin says free trade zone with Turkey realizable task
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday a free trade zone with Turkey was quite a realizable task.

“It is not an easy task - to reach such level of trade relations, but this task is realizable,” Putin told a news conference after his talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Putin reminded that the current trade between Russia and Turkey was 33 billion U.S. dollars and there were plans to increase it up to 100 billion U.S. dollars. He said this was a subject of talks between the Russian and Turkish economic ministers.
The Russian president said the two countries could have closer cooperation in a number of areas, in particular in trade in farming products. “Russia is now interested in that, we are ready to open our markets. But there are many bureaucratic problems that are to be settled. And we will do it, after all,” Putin pledged.
