SOCAR submit new projects at Oil and Gas Exhibition-Conference

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) attended the "EIC Connect: Oil and Gas-2014" exhibition-conference held in Manchester, initiated by UK`s leading trade association "The Energy Industries Council" and "Trade and Industry Agency" (UK T&I). More than 200 companies participated at the event.

The delegation of SOCAR informed the participants of the event about the local business in major oil and gas projects, joint activities and perspectives of new industrial production and achievements of Azerbaijan, as well as made a presentation about the projects of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Complex, "Star" oil refinery plant and "Southern" gas corridor.

Business seminar on topic “Increasing the use of local businesses resources and participation of local business subjects in Azerbaijan`s oil and gas sector” was organized within the conference.

Neil Golding, Head of Oil and Gas at Energy Industries Council appreciated SOCAR’s participation at the event and expressed confidence in strengthening of cooperation with Azerbaijan.

He informed that next year the group of representatives of UK companies are expected to visit
