Azerbaijani president receives Turkish Minister of Science, Industry and Technology
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Minister of Science, Industry and Technology of Turkey Fikri Isık Dec. 2.

Isık conveyed greetings on behalf of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to President Aliyev. He noted the importance of “BakuTel-2014” Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition. Isık said they were happy to attend a ministerial meeting on science and technology of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation in Baku.

Recalling his phone conversation with President Erdogan on December 1, President Aliyev once again described the fact that Azerbaijan was invited to the meetings and the summit of G20 by Turkey as a good sign of friendly and fraternal ties between the two countries. The president said Azerbaijan-Turkey cooperation was successfully developing on all fronts, and stressed the importance of a further expansion of the bilateral cooperation in the fields of science and high technologies.

Isık said the two countries must spare no efforts towards strengthening Azerbaijani nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev`s “one nation, two states” philosophy.

The president thanked for the greetings of President Erdogan and Davutoglu, and asked Isık to communicate his greetings to the Turkish president and Prime Minister.
