Azerbaijan appeals to European Court regarding Armenian-committed crimes
Azerbaijan appealed to the European Court regarding the crimes perpetrated by Armenia during the April fights, the chief of the Presidential Administration`s Sector for Human Rights, Chingiz Askerov told AzVision.az.

He made the remarks during the hearings in the Azerbaijani parliament on the "Recent developments on the line of contact: Problems of the international humanitarian law."

The incidents happened in the frontline are violation of the international law:

`Azerbaijani people unanimously supported the government policy, during April fights. As civilians are not able to appeal to the European Court, they are provided with lawyers. Relevant works are underway on the issue. Two appeals have already been addressed to the European Court.

Furthermore, the European Court have received two more appeals by the Armenian side. The appeal reads, as if Azerbaijani soldiers insult the Armenian civilians. However, the intervention of Azerbaijani Army to the Armenian civilians is out of question.`

Moreover, Azerbaijan will appeal to the European Court regarding the damages by Armenians to more than 50 civil and social objects, Asgerov concluded.
