Works on BTK in Turkey

Works on Baku-Tbilisi-Kars pipeline in the territories of Azerbaijan and Georgia have almost been completed. We are ready to carry cargos by diesel locomotives. Shortcomings will be eliminated by late September, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov said.
According to him, 90% works on BTK have already been completed: “The line is ready for usage. However, there is a delay in Turkey’s territory. I’ll visit Turkey on May 22 and exchange opinions with Turkish transport minister. I think the works in Turkey will be completed by the end of this year”.
