Azerbaijanto obtain images from Belarusian satellite
Belarus and Azerbaijan have agreed to sign a cooperation agreement to use information received from the Belarusian spacecraft, BELTA reported on Sunday with reference to the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
The draft agreement has been prepared and submitted for consideration to the Azerbaijani side. In May, all legal procedures will be completed. Azerbaijan is interested in obtaining images from Belarusian satellite to solve urgent tasks of environmental monitoring and cartography.

As Director, Scientific-Engineering Enterprise "Geographic Information Systems" National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergey Zolotoy said, in the near future images are planned to be sold to the Ministry of Forestry of Russia, as well as the countries of Southeast Asia.
Earlier Belarus hosted the second Belarusian-Azerbaijani business forum in the field of information and communication technologies.
