Azerbaijan becoming major transportation hub - Polish ambassador

Azerbaijan becoming major transportation hub - Polish ambassador

Apart from being a country rich with oil and gas resources, Azerbaijan is now becoming a major transportation hub, Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marek Tsalka told reporters in Baku May 20.

He noted that non-conventional areas of economy are developing in Azerbaijan.

According to the ambassador, the annual trade turnover between Poland and Azerbaijan amounts to 150 million US dollars.

As for the cooperation on education between the two countries, Tsalka said that a sizeable number of Azerbaijani young people choose to study in Polish universities.

The ambassador also outlined that humanitarian cooperation between the two countries will continue in the future.
