According to the resource, more than half of the bookings (52%) are in Russian resorts. In general, at the end of the summer season in Russia will rest 60% of the total number of Russian travelers versus 50% a year earlier, predicts Skyscanner.
According to the study, in addition to the internal areas, the Russians are increasingly choosing to have a rest in the near abroad. For example, compared to last year more than doubled increased sales of tickets to Georgia, 90% to Azerbaijan, 31% to Bulgaria, 20% to Kazakhstan, 16% to Armenia.
The most popular foreign areas for Russians to spend summer holiday are Spain and Italy, says Skyscanner.
