Heads of several states congratulate Azerbaijan
Johann Schneider-Amman, President of the Swiss Confederation has congratulated Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev on the Republic Day.
“The celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a most welcome opportunity for me to extend to Your Excellency on behalf of the Swiss Federal Council our sincere congratulations and our best wishes for the prosperity of your country as well as for your personal health and well-being. I am convinced that the mutual trust and friendship enjoyed by our two countries will deepen in the coming year. Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration,” Johann Schneider-Amman said in the letter of congratulations.
Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt has also congratulated Azerbaijan`s President.

“It is with immense pleasure that I extend to Your Excellency heartfelt congratulations on the anniversary of the National Day of Azerbaijan.

I take this opportunity to commend strong relations between our two countries and cooperation between us in all fields.

I wish you all the best of health and happiness and your friendly people ever more progress and prosperity,” says the letter of congratulations from Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.

Azerbaijan`s president received congratulations from Akihito, Emperor of Japan as well.

“On the occasion of the Republic Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I have great pleasure in sending Your Excellency my heartfelt congratulations and sincere good wishes for your happiness and for the prosperity of the people of your country,” he said.
