Turkey, Lithuania sign agreement on European integration
Turkey and Lithuania on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of European integration, said a statement that was published on Turkey`s EU Ministry website Anadolu Agency reported
The agreement between the Turkish Ministry for EU Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania is to align and harmonize legislation in certain areas, to enhance cooperation and the exchange of experience, to hold regular consultations and joint training programs, the statement said.

Lithuania entered the European Union in 2004 and the country has been a member of the Schengen area since 2007
