Embassy commented on the incident.
"On May 29 at about 13:00 hours in the Russian Embassy received a phone call, that eight-year citizen of Russia that have arrived in Baku had problems at passport control in the Baku international airport with his admission on the territory of Azerbaijan. Embassy staff member immediately arrived in airport. In coordination with local authorities, the boy was allowed to enter the country and currently, boy and his mother is in Baku", embassy said.
