`The establishment of non-government organizations` coalition on `Stop Metsamor` is significant and I support this step` - head of `International Liberation Movement` organization of Armenia, Vahan Martirosyan told joining to the conference via video, AzVision.az reports.
He stated his adherence to the coalition. He spoke of the danger of Metsamor NPP not only for Armenia, but also for the whole region.
In his words, the EU (European Union) suggested the closure of this power plant. However, the discussions on this issue are stagnated as a result of Armenia`s disruptive activity.
`Metsamor NPP` is located in seismically dangerous area. Therefore Metsamor NPP is the most dangerous power plant in the world. The use of out-dated equipments increases the danger. Thus all international organizations need to take steps for the closure of power plant` - he told.
