Ankara, Baku set to mull some important energy issues
Turkey`s Prime Minister Binali Yildirim says that during his visit to Azerbaijan on June 3 Ankara and Baku will discuss some important energy issues, such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway project and the construction of the Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP).
"Besides the energy issues, the situation in the South Caucasus and the development of the Turkey-Azerbaijan bilateral relations will be discussed during the visit to Baku," Yildirim told reporters, TRT Haber news channel said June 2.

"For Turkey, Azerbaijan is a fraternal country," added Yildirim.

Yildirim was appointed the prime minister in Turkey on May 20.

The visit to Azerbaijan will be his first foreign trip as Turkey`s prime minister.

Azerbaijan and Turkey intend to increase their trade turnover to $15 billion.
