The Azerbaijani wounded in the Istanbul explosion has been identified as Murad Miraliyev, who is currently in the surgery department of Haseki Hospital.
A car carrying mobile police forces came under attack at Vezneciler neighborhood early Tuesday morning. An explosion occurred while the police car was passing by a car parked. Then a second explosion followed. The incident killed 12 people—7 police officers and 5 civilians. 35 people were wounded in the blast. Two of them are in critical condition.
