The ADB executive director at the meeting stated about support for important steps taken to ensure stability of Azerbaijan`s financial sector and the recently implemented reforms.
Cooperation framework of Azerbaijan`s Financial Market Supervisory Body with the ADB was discussed at the meeting.
Azerbaijan`s Financial Market Supervisory Body was created by the decree of the country`s president dated February 3, 2016 in order to ensure stability of financial sector and improve oversight mechanisms in this area.
