French pilot shows best time during practice session of GP2 series 2016 in Baku
The French driver of the Racing Engineering team Norman Nato showed the best time on the results of the practice session of GP2 series 2016 in Baku.
His result was 1:55.394.

The Italian driver of the PREMA Racing team Antonio Giovinazzi came in second (1:55.719), while the Russian driver of the ART Grand Prix team Sergey Sirotkin - became third (1:56.093).

The practice session of the GP2 series kicked off in Baku June 17.

Azerbaijan is hosting the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe for the first time June 17-June 19. The Baku circuit, which is slightly over 6 kilometers, will have the racers to go 51 laps. Overall, 11 teams, each with two drivers, will compete in the race.

The race layout incorporates the medieval walls of the old city (Icheri Sheher) and a long high-speed blast along the shores of the Caspian Sea. The maximum estimated speed at the race is 340 km/h.

GP2 first race, Formula 1 third practise session and Formula 1 qualifying will be held on the second day of the races on June 18, while the GP2 second race and 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe will be held on the last day of the races, June 19.
