New Stadler electric trains delivered to Baku

New Stadler electric trains delivered to Baku

Two new KISS double-decker electric trains, produced at Stadler Minsk factory of Switzerland

Now, Azerbaijan has five such trains.

The first KISS electric train arrived at Baku station on May 30, the second on May 31, and the third on August 20, 2015.

Each train has 396 seats, including 84 business class seats, and has a total capacity of 919 passengers.

Earlier, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and Stadler Rail Group held negotiations on modernization of the Azerbaijani railway infrastructure.
