Immigration law violators to be banned from entering Russia for 10 years
A draft law banning foreign nationals who have violated Russian immigration rules from entering the country for the next ten years passed its second reading in Russia’s State Duma lower house of parliament on Friday.

Proposed legislation would bar foreign nationals who have exceeded the period of stay by 280 days from entering the Russian Federation again for the next ten years.

The current practices to enforce immigration regulations are less penalizing. Illegal migrants who have abused the deadline are currently prohibited from entering Russia for just three years.
