Bomb attack targets police vehicle in SE Turkey: police officer martyred
A Turkish police vehicle was targeted by a Kurdistan Workers` Party (PKK) bomb attack in the Dicle town of the southeastern Turkish province of Diyarbakır.
One policeman was martyred and seven other people wounded, including a policeman. The incident occurred in the 27 Mayıs neighborhood.

Many ambulances were sent to the scene and the wounded were taken to Dicle State Hospital.

Many houses and shops were damaged in the incident.

Turkey has been the target of terrorist organizations, particularly the PKK and affiliated groups such the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the People`s Protection Units (YPG), and The Kurdistan Freedom Hawks (TAK) along with Daesh.

Previously in June, another police bus was targeted by a bomb attack in the central Vezneciler district of Istanbul, leaving more than a dozen dead and dozens more wounded.
