European parliament ratifies Georgia-EU association agreement
The European Parliament will ratify the association agreement between Georgia and the EU on December 18, the Speaker of the Georgian Foreign Ministry David Kereselidze said at the traditional press-conference December 15.
He said that ten countries have already ratified the document, namely, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Slovakia, Estonia, Hungary, Sweden and Croatia.

"We expect an appropriate resolution to be adopted,” he said. “I can not say about its content, as the resolution was prepared by the European Parliament. But we expect that the support for the European aspirations and territorial integrity will be expressed."
