Family of deceased Russian pilot not to accept compensation from Turkey

Family of deceased Russian pilot not to accept compensation from Turkey

The brother of Oleg Peshkov, who died after his Sukhoi-24 bomber was shot down by Turkey on November 24, 2015, said on Friday that they will not accept compensation from the Turkish government, AzVision.az reports citing the Russian Media.

Earlier, the municipality of the Turkish resort of Kemer has offered to give a house as a gift to the family of the deceased Russian pilot.

"Nobody is going to ask them for compensation. And if they offer, no one will accept it. It is not only humiliating, but also terrible,” he said.
