In the period of independence, 99 police officers and military personnel were killed and 2,613 wounded in the fight against crime and protection of public order and safety, Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov said Saturday during an event dedicated to the 98th anniversary of Azerbaijani police, AzVision.az reports citing APA.
