Moscow hopes for early signing of a convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku July 12.
Lavrov mentioned that a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Caspian littoral states will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan July 13.
