During the visit, Poroshenko is expected to take part in the fifth meeting of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, as well as to hold meetings with the top leadership of the country.
Moreover, during the Ukrainian president’s visit, the two countries are scheduled to sign several bilateral agreements aimed at improvement of relations.
Poroshenko is also expected to meet with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and the speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Oktay Asadov.
This will be the first official visit of Ukrainian President to Azerbaijan.
