Deputy head of Istanbul municipality faces armed attack
Deputy head of the Sisli municipality in Turkey’s Istanbul city has faced an armed attack, the Haber 7 newspaper reported July 18.
An unknown person burst into the municipality’s building and opened fire on the municipality’s deputy chairman Cemil Cantas, who was seriously wounded.

The attacker was detained by the police.
