The president said Russia and Turkey have already established cooperation on gas issues, adding that Ankara receives gas via the Blue Stream gas pipeline.
The two countries have the price formulas and supply schedules and Russia is ready to sell additional volumes of gas, according to Putin.
Commenting on the possibility of creating a gas hub on Turkish-Greek border, the president said it depends on the European partners.
He said the creation of the hub will allow to start the supply of Russian gas to Greece, Macedonia and Baumgarten (Austria).
During his visit to Turkey in early December, Putin announced about the abandonment of the implementation of South Stream project and the start of construction of a gas pipeline to Turkey, as well as the creation of a gas hub.
