Food prices rapidly rising in Armenia
This was stated today by Armenian Prime Minister Ovik Abramyan at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

He told Artak Shabonyan, chairman of the commission for the protection of economic competition, to keep him up to date about the prices of consumer goods on a daily basis.

“A serious increase was seen yesterday in the prices of sugar, flour, and some other necessary products. Unfounded price increase is inadmissible,” said O. Abramyan, adding that the changes in the foreign exchange market have affected the country’s economy.
