Egypt`s President skips Arab League Summit over assassination risk
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi`s trip to Mauritania for the Arab League summit has been canceled due to the threat of an attempt on his life, local media reported on Monday, citing informed sources.
According to the Youm 7 news outlet, this is not the first planned attempt on the life of the Egyptian head by "a number of terrorist organizations."

The Twenty-seventh Arab League Summit kicked off on Monday in the Mauritanian capital of Nouakchott. Egypt will be represented by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
