Belarusian House of Representatives ratifies treaty on Armenia
The House of Representatives of the Belarusian National Assembly ratified the agreement of Armenia
The agreement was signed in Minsk by the presidents of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Armenia on Oct. 10, 2014.

Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan agreed upon a transition period for Armenia, during which import duties will be imposed on some Armenian goods.

The rates of these duties are different from the common customs tariff of the EAU.

Previously, first deputy foreign minister of Belarus, Alexander Mihnevich said that Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh, which was occupied by Armenia, will not be included to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAU) after Armenia’s accession.

The first deputy foreign minister had said that the Armenian side prepared a relevant note, which stipulates the point regarding Nagorno-Karabakh region.
