“The US Embassy is aware of reports that put forth anonymous claims about US policy on upcoming elections in Azerbaijan that are grossly inaccurate,” the message said. “The US Embassy was not asked to verify these claims and we firmly reject them. Chargé Hogan did indeed meet with several political parties across the political spectrum to better understand their views.”
