Trump rescued from broken elevator in Colorado
US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a broken elevator less than an hour before he was due for a speech, local media said.
The billionaire candidate was trapped between the first and second floors at the Mining Exchange hotel in Colorado Springs along with around 10 other people just 30 minutes before he was scheduled to give a speech at the University of Colorado, the 9NEWS channel reported, citing the Colorado Springs Fire Department.

Trump was rescued alongside other passengers when firefighters opened the elevator`s top hatch and lowered a ladder, according to the channel.
