New Georgian defense minister, state minister for reconciliation appointed

New Georgian defense minister, state minister for reconciliation appointed

PM Giorgi Kvirikashvili appointed Levan Izoria, who up until now has served as Deputy Head of the State Security Service, as new Defense Minister, replacing Tina Khidasheli, who filed resignation last week, Civil Georgia reports.

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, has been promoted as the minister, replacing Paata Zakareishvili.
