Interior Ministry spokeswoman Nataliya Spirova Kordic confirmed the death toll to Anadolu Agency, adding that the body of a 12-year-old child -- Ivan Iliev -- had been found. Iliev had been among six people reported missing during the flooding.
The authorities are still searching for 16-month-old Elif Fejzullahi, another missing child.
Heavy rains hit Macedonia Saturday afternoon, causing damage to numerous buildings and vehicles. The flooding also cut transportation in capital Skopje and caused a power cut.
The military has been called out to deal with the flooding which damaged homes and workplaces and buried cars.
Aug. 8 has been declared a national day of mourning.
