Turkey detains Armenian member of IS
A member of the “Islamic State” terrorist group (aka IS, ISIS, ISIL, or Daesh) Artem Aloyan, who is a native of Armenia and a citizen of France, was detained in Turkey’s southern province of Hatay, Haber 7 newspaper reported Aug. 10.
After the detention, it was found out that Aloyan is fluent in Russian, Arabic, French, Armenian and Kurdish.

Aloyan had maps and video footage with himself, proving his participation in military actions in Syria.

He entered the Syrian territory in 2015, according to the report. He is France’s citizen since 2002.
