Thai authorities on Friday blocked highways and railways, leading to Thai southern resort of Hua Hin after a series of explosions hit the town, local media reported.
A large-scale search for unexploded explosive devices, which police suspect may still be in the city is under way, Thailand`s Channel 3 reported.

On Thursday and early Friday, two series of blasts shook the resort killing at least two people and injuring 28 others.

Besides the explosions in Hua Hin resort, two blasts occurred in the southern Thai city of Surat Thani and two on the Phuket Island on Friday, a holiday celebrating the Thai Queen Sirikit`s birthday. Two more explosions were reported in Thailand’s Phang Nga Province.
