Iranian FM offers trilateral meeting with Russia, Turkey on Syria

Iranian FM offers trilateral meeting with Russia, Turkey on Syria

According to media reports, Iranian Foreign Minister offered to organize a trilateral meeting between Iran, Russia and Turkey to discuss the Syrian crisis settlement.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif offered to organize a trilateral meeting between Iran, Russia and Turkey to discuss the Syrian crisis settlement, according to media reports.

From Zarif’s point of view, the initiative is necessary for finding solution to the crisis in the interests of the countries in the region, al-Hayat media outlet reported, citing Iranian sources.

During his visit to Turkey on Friday Zarif met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
