Armenian detained while trying to cross into Azerbaijan

Armenian detained while trying to cross into Azerbaijan

An Armenian citizen, who tried to cross into the territory of Azerbaijan, has been detained, the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of the country told on Aug. 13.

Azerbaijani servicemen detained Armenian citizen Agetsyan Henrik Sayerbekovich Aug. 7 when he tried to cross into Azerbaijan from the Sadarak direction of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), according to the state commission.

The commission notified the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) about the incident.
