Georgia’s Foreign Ministry told on Dec. 23 that the parties also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.
They highlighted the need to intensify bilateral relations and mulled the prospects of the ‘New Silk Road’ project, which was earlier announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Yue Bin pointed out the growth of Chinese investments in Georgia and the positive developments in the Georgian-Chinese trade relations.
The parties underscored the existing potential in investment growth, and noted the importance of the exchange of high level visits.
Ambassador Yue Bin highlighted China’s unchanged stance with regard to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
