ADY Express starts railway freightage via North-South route
“Those containers entered Azerbaijan from Iran by trucks and have been entrained in the railway station in Astara and sent to Russia. These freights were being transported to Russia’s Astrakhan from Iran. However, after Azerbaijani president issued a decree and the Cabinet of Ministers approved rules arisen from this decree, foreign trucks carrying railway cargos through Azerbaijan have been exempted from duties and road taxes”.
Via the North-South International Transport Corridor, the cargos are transported in the route of India-Persian Gulf-Iran-Azerbaijan-Russia-Scandinavian countries/Northern Europe within 14 days.
