Over 71,000 people affected by floods in China after Lionrock Typhoon
More than 71,000 people have been affected by floods in the Chinese northeastern province of Jilin triggered by Lionrock typhoon.
The number includes 44,500 people urgently evacuated from the flooded areas in the province, China News Service media outlet said. Lionrock, which emerged from the Pacific a week ago, is causing powerful storms and rains across the region.
