Turkish Martyrdom visited in connection with liberation of Baku
Undersecretary of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan Meral Barlas has visited the Turkish Martyrdom monument in connection with the 98th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from the bolshevik-dashnak occupation by the Caucasian Islamic Army led by Nuru Pasha.
The visitor laid a wreath in front of the monument and wrote down cordial words in the memorial book.

Reading aloud her cordial words, the diplomat said that the Turkish martyrs, who came to assistance of their Azerbaijani brothers, are the invincible architect of our relations. “Our relations have been built on such a strong foundation. This self-sacrifice performed for independence of Azerbaijan is remembered with gratitude by Azerbaijani brothers even after 98 years. We will pass this trust onto future generations with the concept of “One nation two states””, she said.

The embassy’s employees, public representatives also laid flowers at the graves.
