In his message Rouhani called all “free-thinking and peaceable people to brotherhood and amity.”
The president also described Iran as home to all Iranians including Muslims, Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians.
“World today, needs more than ever, the prophets massage of peace, justice and freedom,” Rouhani said in his message.
He also called the scholars of the Islamic and Christian world to stand against the violent distortion of the religion.
