“Azerbaijan is among mighty states. This year we’re going to mark the 25th anniversary of the restoration of our independence,” he added.
“Our country is developing in an upward trend. We have built a strong economy and created a strong social sphere. More than 3,000 schools and more than 600 hospitals are all what the Azerbaijani state has done,” said Ilham Aliyev.
Azerbaijan is receiving aid from anywhere and it doesn’t even need it, said the president. “So let every Azerbaijani citizen be proud of living in an independent state. Our fate lies in our own hands,” he added.
“For centuries we have lived as part of other states and when comparing those times to our period we see that the period of the fastest development is the years of independence. Why? Because our fate is in our own hands,” President Aliyev noted.
