The Deputy speaker of the parliament, committee chairman Vahid Alasgarov spoke about works carried out during the spring and extra-ordinary sessions in the committee.
Thereafter, a draft law on “Approval of Memorandum of understanding between Azerbaijan and Turkey on TANAP” was considered in the meeting. Alasgarov informed about the document signed on May 26, 2016 in Ankara, Turkey. It was noted that the draft law is very important for cooperation in natural gas exploitation between the two countries.
MPs supported tabling of the document at the plenary meeting.
