Armenian Zhoghovurd newspaper has learned that newly appointed Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has admitted, during “inner palace” discussions, that he plans to change the makeup of the Government of Armenia by 99 percent, wrote the daily.
“But the whole problem is that he is unable to find ‘worthy replacements.’ There are no cadres to his liking; he is in a [respective] search.
“And this is the reason why when the first ministerial appointments will be made next week, the [Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF)] Dashnaktsutyun [Party] ministers will be reappointed as a priority,” wrote Zhoghovurd.
