Azerbaijani Para-Taekwondo fighters win nine European medals
Azerbaijani fighters have brought home a clutch of nine medals, including two golds from the European Para-Taekwondo Championships held in Warsaw, Poland.
The gold medals came from Alexandr Polishuk (+75kg) and Nijat Muslumov (75kg).

Shahmir Ibadov, Royala Fataliyeva and Khazar Mirzayev claimed the silver medals in the 61kg, 58kg and 75kg weight categories respectively.

Other Azerbaijani fighters Abulfaz Abuzarli (75kg), Aynur Mammadova (+58kg), Anar Huseynov (61kg) and Namig Abbasov (61kg) scooped the bronze medals of the tournament.

Azerbaijan ranked third in the overall medal table.

The championships brought together more than 120 athletes from 32 countries.
