British MPs says voter turnout high Azerbaijani referendum
No offences have so far been recorded during the voting in Azerbaijan’s constitutional referendum, David Morris, a member of the British Parliament’s House of Commons, told on Sept. 26.
The British MP, who is observing the referendum in Azerbaijan, noted that it his fourth time observing the voting process in Azerbaijan.

“Favorable conditions have been created here for voters,” he said. “I’d say that the voting process underway in Azerbaijan is comparable to international level. We saw high voter turnout at the polling stations we visited.”

David Evans, a member of the British House of Lords, said the polling methods applied in Azerbaijan are advanced.

“As an observer, I had taken part in previous elections, too. The impressions are very good. High voter turnout is being observed,” he added.
